Kate Wickenhauser was a graduate from the music program at Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Toronto, with 30 years of experience in teaching music and leading bands in Saskatchewan before retiring to Ontario. Kate taught all grade levels and has adjudicated bands in the Saskatchewan Musical Festival Association. Sadly, Kate passed away in 2001, during the Legion Band's COVID hiatus.
