Over Three Decades of Music for the Community!
The Petawawa Legion Community Band is now in its 35th season (along with the Petawawa Legion Band School).
A special celebration of our 30th anniversary took place on Saturday, January 26th, 2008 (the band was founded by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 517 Petawawa on January 25, 1978).
At the celebration twenty-seven members were recognized for their long service with the Band (see photo):
- 18 people between 10 and 18 years;
- 6 people between 20 and 27 years;
- 3 people who have been with the Band since the first year, and were given Life Memberships.
